Marble · Tiles
Thassos is among the brightest white marbles quarried, and this is the honed 12x12 tile cut from it: one square foot a piece, ten to a box, with a bevelled edge. Variation is slight, so the white holds steady across an order.

Design
Polished Thassos can be almost too reflective in a bright room. Honing takes that down to a matte surface while keeping the whiteness, which is usually the more livable choice. The bevelled edge adds a fine shadow at every joint, so a field of it reads as distinct squares rather than as one uninterrupted plane. Bodies are 3/8 inch, and matching marble tiles in this stone come with a pencil liner and an andorra trim. Stone from a single block also varies less than stone gathered from several, which is part of why the record here shows slight rather than moderate variation.
Honing keeps the brightness without the mirror finish.
Each edge carries a fine line of shadow.
Where to use it
The rating spans residential light floors, residential and commercial interior floors and walls, and shower walls, with kitchen, bathroom and living room all recorded. Ten square feet to a box makes 60 square feet a seven box job. White stone shows what lands on it, which is a maintenance consideration rather than a performance one.
Ten square feet a box covers 60 square feet in seven.
Pencil liner and andorra profiles run in the same stone.

Why we chose it
Seal after installation and again every one to two years. White marble shows etching clearly, so keep acids away entirely and clean with a pH neutral stone product.
