Cicero, on a square foot sheet
Cicero is a marble mosaic in European Grey with more than one finish across its pieces, on a 12x12 sheet that covers exactly a square foot. Six sheets fill a box, and variation between pieces is slight.
Design
Pattern held steady
Working within a single colour group and keeping variation slight means the design itself carries the surface rather than the stone competing with it. What changes is the finish: some pieces take light and some return it, so the pattern appears and recedes depending on where you stand. Sheets are 3/8 inch thick and the colour is recorded as white within the European Grey group. A pattern that relies on finish rather than colour also behaves differently under a downlight than under diffused daylight, which is worth checking before deciding where it goes.

Finish differences show themselves as the viewer moves.
Where to use it
Shower floors
Underfoot in a shower is the recorded use, the bathroom its room. Six sheets per box and six square feet with them means a dozen boxes for 60 square feet after cutting. Because a sheet and a square foot are the same thing, estimating skips a step most mosaics force on you. Adhesive still has to reach the whole of the mesh, and shuffling sheets between boxes as they go down keeps small differences from gathering.

Care
Seal after installation and every one to two years after that, with extra attention where the surface stays wet. Acidic cleaners etch marble, so a pH neutral stone product is the routine choice.
