Long slides in two whites
Slides sets narrow bars of Snow White and Bianco Dolomiti on an 11x17 polished sheet. Pieces are recorded as uniform, so the two whites stay close to one another rather than reading as a contrast. Each sheet covers 1.29 square feet and a box of six covers 7.74.
Design
Two stones, almost one colour
Using two marbles that sit near each other in tone gives a surface quiet variation without a visible break. Polishing lifts both, deepening whatever veining each bar carries. The sheet is 1/2 inch thick, heavier in section than most mosaic sheets, which is worth knowing when it goes on a wall and worth allowing for where it meets a thinner material. White marble mosaics in this arrangement read as texture from across a room and as separate pieces up close.

Where to use it
Almost anywhere indoors
The list runs to commercial and residential interior floors and walls, residential light floors, shower walls and floors, bath floors and walls, and backsplash, with kitchen recorded as the room. Nine boxes take care of 60 square feet once waste is added. A sample is available, which is sensible where two stones are being blended. Opening several boxes and mixing the sheets during setting keeps any difference between them spread across the area.

Care
Seal after installation and reseal every one to two years. Polished marble shows etching sooner than honed, so wipe acidic spills straight away and clean with a pH neutral stone product only.
